New Features

Resource Manager

A new Resource Manager is now available for uploading and managing files from a central library. Each account has a 5 GB storage allowance, and resources can be tagged with a Resource Category and linked to curriculum materials so students can access them via the Contact Portal.

My eQuals Extract

You can now generate My eQuals submission packages directly from SELMA. Use the new My eQuals page under Compliance Reports to search for graduated students, select records, choose document types, and generate a ready-to-upload ZIP file containing all PDFs and the required metadata CSV. Exports are generated in the background and emailed to you when ready, with all past exports available to download from the history page.

Intake – Cancelled Status

A new Cancelled status is now available on Intakes. This allows you to distinguish intakes that did not go ahead from those that are simply closed, making it easier to report on cancelled opportunities.


Enhancements

Timezone Selection in Footer and Profile

You can now change your timezone directly in the footer or in your SELMA profile sidebar. Click the timezone displayed in the footer or profile, select your preferred timezone from the dropdown, and save. All dates and times throughout the system will immediately reflect your new selection.

Achievement Matrix CSV Export

Exporting the Achievement Matrix as a CSV from a Class or Intake now runs in the background. You’ll receive your download once it’s ready, even for large data sets that previously caused a timeout.

Mail Merge Custom Field Date Formatting

Custom date fields will now be correctly displayed in the user’s preferred date format on mail merge templates.

Workflow Trigger Additions

Contact Created and Contact Updated are now available as triggers in the Workflow Builder, allowing you to automate actions when contact records are added or modified.

Form Submission – Account Owner Column

The form submission page now shows a red “Unassigned” label with a quick-action button in the Account Owner column, making it easier to identify and assign unprocessed submissions.

Student Importer – Additional Fields (NZ Only)

The Student Importer now supports additional fields including driver’s licence, emergency contacts, and address information, making it easier to migrate comprehensive student data into SELMA.


Bug Fixes

  • Contact Portal – Intake Dates: Fixed an issue where dates on the Contact Portal enrolment page were displaying in UTC instead of the user’s local timezone.
  • Enrolment Component Grading: Resolved a bug where the Submit button would remain disabled after grading an enrolment component and attempting to grade another.
  • Event Deletion: Fixed an issue where deleting an Event would not fully clean up related data.
  • Timetable Session Creation: Resolved a timeout that could occur when creating a timetable session due to unnecessary background processing. Session creation now completes reliably.
  • Event Scheduler Performance: Fixed an issue where background tasks could lock database tables for extended periods, preventing users from updating event log entries. Scheduler tasks now process items more efficiently, improving overall system responsiveness.
  • SELMA Form Date Pickers: Resolved an issue where date picker fields on SELMA Forms could display an incorrect default date format or prevent dates from being selected.
  • Grade Importer – Completion Code: Fixed an issue where the Grade Importer was not correctly setting the completion code on enrolment components when marking them as complete.
