3.13.0 Release Notes

Features/Improvements

Re-enrolment for Withdrawn Students

Enabled re-enrolment into the same intake for students who previously withdrew. For New Zealand customers, completed components will be automatically cross-credited. Failed components can now be re-added as ad-hoc to the same enrolment. Added a badge to Enrolment Map Components to highlight the enrolment component’s status for improved clarity.

Enhanced Enrolment Filtering

Added new enrolment filter section on Intake and Class screens, allowing search by Student ID, Student Name, Enrolment ID, and quick filters for enrolment status. This makes it easier to find and manage specific enrolments within intakes and classes.

Fee Table Mail Merge Fields

Added an Enrolment Fees table mail merge field for email and PDF objects in communication templates. This is useful for sending out Offers of Place or informative emails as it outlines the fees to be paid for an enrolment.

Bug Fixes

SDR Extraction Performance

Fixed SDR Extraction performance issues when selecting certain funding sources, improving the speed and reliability of data extractions.

Student Creation with NSN

Fixed issue where creating students with NSI integration enabled and a filled NSN field caused an error. Students can now be created successfully with NSN information.

Record of Achievement Import

Record of Achievement now properly filters Unit Standards with leading zeros on import, ensuring accurate data processing.

Search and Data Grid Improvements

Fixed search functionality for names with apostrophes (like O’Connor, O’Brien, or Mary’s Restaurant) in all search fields across the system. Previously, these searches would fail to return results.

Improved column sorting functionality – several columns that appeared sortable but didn’t actually sort when clicked now work correctly:

  • Events: Object, Object ID, and Name columns
  • Invoices: Amount Due, Total, Overdue By, and To columns
  • Programmes: Validation, Number of Components, and Number of Intakes columns
  • Classes: Status column

These improvements apply to the advanced search feature across Students, Intakes, Enrolments, Organisations, Form Submissions, Unit Standards, Awards, Campuses, Classes, Components, Events, Programmes, Qualifications, Users, and Contacts.

Component Description Field

Fixed issue where editing components with empty descriptions would cause an error. Components can now be saved with empty description fields.

Student Identifier Import

Fixed issue where importing students incorrectly stored the identifier, which caused UUIDs to be displayed in the user interface instead of the proper student identifier.
